Auckland is a city of natural beauty, and one of the best ways to experience it is by visiting Duder Regional Park.

Duder Regional Park offers stunning views of Auckland’s skyline and harbour, as well as plenty of fun for visitors to enjoy. There are walking and biking trails, a playground, a swimming area, and more.

The Duder Regional Park lies on the pōhutukawa-fringed Whakakaiwhara Peninsula, which cuts into the Tamaki Strait. The panoramic views of the surrounding hills, Hunua Ranges, and Hauraki Gulf islands may make you feel like you’re on your own island.

You can enjoy this 6.3-km loop trail near Manurewa, Auckland. It takes an average of 1 hour 43 minutes to complete this route. There are plenty of opportunities for birding, hiking, and mountain biking on this trail, but you can still appreciate some peace and quiet during quieter hours. At the entrance, there is a car park with toilet facilities, maps, and a shoe cleaning station to prevent kauri dieback disease.
