3. Bell’s Berries

Bell’s PYO farm is a sustainable strawberry picking farm, it’s only been open for a couple of years. They pride themselves on producing high quality strawberries with as low maintenance as possible! We can dig it. Bell’s encourages people to bring their own reusable containers to the strawberry picking farm, else they do offer their own packaging which is sustainably sourced from sugar cane.

Spend the day here with the whole family picking fabulous fruits to your heart’s content – as well as strawberries they offer cherries, watermelon, pre-picked berries and even chillies! Not only do they provide three different types of berries to satisfy your appetite. They also provide real fruit ice cream including strawberry ice cream as well as some delicious Roma coffee. If the kids are animal fans, be sure to pay Barry & Garry a visit and Bubba the lamb, you’ve goat to be kidding me!

Get this: They named their farm after their daughter Annabel. Super cute!

Family run strawberry farm providing quality local produce at the heart of the community since 1974. There tends to be a longish queue for payment so make sure to grab an ice cream beforehand. If you’re looking for a great experience with the kids, be sure to head down to Zaberri world. There’s also plenty for the children to do, including an inflatable playground, plenty of fresh berries to pick and a beautiful view. Make sure to try their fresh strawberry ice cream. This is one great Auckland strawberry farm! 

They have a delicious selection of strawberries & raspberries, straight off the vine. There are some shady areas, just in case you forgot to pack the sun tan lotion. Be sure to add Zaberri as a pitstop.
