We had the pleasure of dining at Onslow recently and I have to say, the food and service were both outstanding. The restaurant is located in Auckland, New Zealand and offers a truly unique dining experience. From the attentive service to the exquisite dishes, everything about this restaurant makes it a stand out in the city.
One of the things that makes Onslow so special is its focus on using only the very best ingredients. This means that all of the dishes are made with fresh, locally sourced produce. The result is a menu that is absolutely packed with flavour. I ordered the lamb for my main course and it was cooked to perfection. The meat was incredibly tender and juicy, and it simply melted in my mouth.

I would 100% go back here but I would skip the fried bread. The chicken liver parfait was soooo rich and creamy you will 100% need to order extra brioche cause that’s how tasty it was😋. The ofc fried chicken loved the addition of the pickles it was a great flavour combo but a little shocked at the portion size.

- The pate was a wonderful and light way to start off the dinner (comes with sourdough slices) and the maple masked the foul liver taste really well. The salmon was soft and melted in your mouth, and the combination of salmon mousse, cured salmon and pickle was amazing. was seriously fantastic and couldn’t have asked for a better meal. Tuna was also cooked to a perfect half cooked-half raw, Sharing platter and the lamb were highlights!
