Experience an award-winning dining experience with the Thyme Restaurant (formerly The Dining Room) unique blend of fresh, innovative cuisine, friendly staff, elegant surroundings and breathtaking views.

Spencer on Byron Hotels’ Thyme Restaurant uses local produce in season to create innovative dishes served in an elegant environment.

Takapuna’s award-winning restaurant features Hawke’s Bay lamb rump, Duo of Angus Beef, South Island rabbit and a variety of seafood dishes in a stylish yet relaxed atmosphere.

Freshly prepared seasonal dishes are available à la carte. Seasonal, fresh food is a big part of their menu, which also meets a variety of dietary requirements including vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, and low carb. Thyme Restaurant offers a family meal with the Junior Menu, available for children 12 years and under – from $12.50 for a main course and from $6 for dessert. Breakfast is from  $14 for children ages 6-12 (with a paying adult). Children 5 and under eat free (with a paying adult).

Guests can enjoy live music in the restaurant or the club bar Monday- Saturday from 6:30pm until 9:30pm.
