Event: Meet Everyday Heroes At Northwest

Type: Free event

Details: Bring the family and meet your local Emergency Service heroes from the New Zealand Police, New Zealand Defence Force, St John, Fire and Emergency New Zealand and Coastguard New Zealand.

⁣An action-packed day for the whole family with demonstrations from your local heroes, live music and more.

Event: Matuku Link Open Day 2021

Type: Environmental 

Details: A family friendly fun day with stalls for education and information, like Forest & Bird, Million Metres, Whitebait Connection, Birds New Zealand and Pest Free Waitakere Ranges, plus stalls with locally made produce and products. Plus their famous Matuku Link fundraising BBQ and cake stall will be there.

Event: Okura Kaitiaki Day

Type: Environmental, sports

Details: Celebrate the Okura marine reserve with Experiencing Marine Reserves. Enjoy a day of guided kayaking with Canoe and Kayak, stand up paddleboarding with Mission Bay Watersports, freshwater workshops by Whitebait Connection and information stalls about the Long Bay – Okura Marine Reserve. 

Registrations are essential for kayaking and paddleboarding.

You can only sign up for one activity as spaces are limited on this event.
